Sadler Arts Academy is a K-8 Arts Magnet School designed to give students the opportunity to learn through creative instruction, using the arts as a vehicle for motivation and learning.

  • Veteran's Program

    The Veteran's Day Program will be on Tuesday, November 11th at 7:00pm. Please plan to attend and invite your family and friends. We encourage all current or former service members to wear their uniforms. If you can't attend the evening performance, we will have a school assembly at 1:30pm.

  • Pam Turnbull is OKMEA Exemplary Music Educator for 2014

    Our outstanding music Pam Turnbull has been named OKMEA Exemplary Music Educator for 2014. Mrs. Turnbull's excellence is evident in all she does. Sadler students receive an incredible music education. Congratulations to Mrs. Turnbull!

  • Sadler's Veterans' Memorial Run and Walk

    The 2nd Annual Veterans' Memorial Run and Walk will begin at 8:00am on Saturday, November 8th at the Muskogee Civic Center. The run will use the one mile parade route downtown, which will be majestically lined with 300 American flags. Participants will run or walk as far as they can in one hour. This fundraiser benefits Sadler 7th and 8th graders' annual Oklahoma bus tour and a future Veterans' Memorial Monument for the museum district. The entry fee is $25 with a $5 late fee after October 29th. Register at www.raceroster.com or sign up at Sadler. T-shirts come with entry. Muskogee Running Club or Wings members will receive $5 off.

  • Creativity Takes Courage

    Our school wide theme this year is Creativity Takes Courage and an in depth study of Fauvism. We have many meaningful learning experiences planned for the students. The Sadler hallways showcase stunningly beautiful and vibrant examples of Fauvism artwork.

  • 2nd Annual Blood Drive

    Thanks to everyone who came and donated blood! Sadler was able to collect 50 units of lifesaving blood this year. Mrs. Jamison's third grade class learned about the importance of helping others. Mrs. Jamison shared her story about the 36 units of blood that saved her life. Mrs. Jamison's third graders were eager to 'give back' to the community and help organize and run the blood drive.

    Sadler students participated in our annual Constitution Day Parade. Special thanks to all of our parents who came to cheer during the parade.

  • National School of Character

    Sadler Arts Academy is very honored to be named, National School of Character by the Character Education Partnership in Washington D.C. Sadler joins the illustrious rank of only 44 other schools in the entire world to have this distinction. We are so proud to be honored for the excellent character exhibited at our school. Way to go, Sadler Shining Stars!

  • Sadler Arts Academy Named State School of Character

    The Character Council of Central Oklahoma named Sadler Arts Academy a 2014 State School of Character. Sadler is the first Kindergarten through Eighth grade school to receive this distinction. We were recognized for the outstanding character exhibited from our students, faculty, and all members of Sadler Arts Academy.
