Sadler Arts Academy is a K-8 Arts Magnet School designed to give students the opportunity to learn through creative instruction, using the arts as a vehicle for motivation and learning.

    The K-2 Dr. Seuss Literacy Night has been re-scheduled for Thursday, March 12th from 5-6:30pm in the new library. Please come join us for lots of Seuss fun!

    During the week of January 26-30th, Sadler students and teachers are joining schools across the nation to participate in the GREAT KINDNESS CHALLENGE. We are encouraging students and staff members to complete as many kind acts as possible this week.

  • K-2 FROZEN Literacy Night

    Kindergarten through second grade students are invited to attend our FROZEN Literacy Night on Thursday, February 5th from 5:00-6:30 in the Library. Please mark your calendars for this exciting event. Watch for more news about our K-2 WARM HUGS Service Project.

  • Magnet Applications

    We will begin accepting magnet applications for new students on Tuesday, January 20th. The sooner you turn in your application the better. The deadline for applications is February 12th. This is for prospective new magnet students, children entering Sadler for the first time, and for sixth graders wanting to attend 7th & 8th grade at Sadler.

  • MEA Teacher of the Month

    Congratulations to Mrs. Brandy Hughey for being selected as Sadler's MEA Teacher of the Month for December. Mrs. Hughey leads kindergarten students to success with gentleness and encouragement. Mrs. Hughey always has a beautiful smile, a positive attitude, and her kindness is contagious. Congratulations to Mrs. Hughey!

  • Nutcracker- 'All Jazz'd Up'

    The Sadler Nutcracker 'All Jazz'd Up' will be Saturday, December 13th at 7pm and Sunday, December 14th at 3pm. Tickets for adults are $5 each, students $3 each, and reserved seating for $10 each.

  • Veteran's Program

    The Veteran's Day Program will be on Tuesday, November 11th at 7:00pm. Please plan to attend and invite your family and friends. We encourage all current or former service members to wear their uniforms. If you can't attend the evening performance, we will have a school assembly at 1:30pm.

  • Pam Turnbull is OKMEA Exemplary Music Educator for 2014

    Our outstanding music Pam Turnbull has been named OKMEA Exemplary Music Educator for 2014. Mrs. Turnbull's excellence is evident in all she does. Sadler students receive an incredible music education. Congratulations to Mrs. Turnbull!

  • Sadler's Veterans' Memorial Run and Walk

    The 2nd Annual Veterans' Memorial Run and Walk will begin at 8:00am on Saturday, November 8th at the Muskogee Civic Center. The run will use the one mile parade route downtown, which will be majestically lined with 300 American flags. Participants will run or walk as far as they can in one hour. This fundraiser benefits Sadler 7th and 8th graders' annual Oklahoma bus tour and a future Veterans' Memorial Monument for the museum district. The entry fee is $25 with a $5 late fee after October 29th. Register at www.raceroster.com or sign up at Sadler. T-shirts come with entry. Muskogee Running Club or Wings members will receive $5 off.
